Instructor-led workshops

NVIDIA DeepLearning Institute offers online and face-to-face training courses in AI and accelerated computing. Industry experts have trained more that 200,000 developers worldwide in instructor-led workshops. Individuals can gain access to these courses for free through the Institute's online courses, earning a certificate of competency. A certificate of proficiency can be earned by participants to further their career advancement.

Prerequisites for parallel CUDA Kernels

The CUDA Course is designed to allow students to develop high-performance computing programs that take advantage cluster-scale GPU computing power. This course covers topics such as parallel thread hierarchy, memory optimization and atomic operations. It also includes multi-GPU programming. Students will also learn about advanced data engineering tools, including Numba, a just-in-time Python function compiler that launches CUDA kernels.

Training kits

The new Edge AI and Robotics Teaching Kit from the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) is a collaborative effort. The fifth installment in the series is this teaching kit. It combines lecture slides and software with video. The content covers advanced topics, including GPU-accelerated machine learning, Internet of Things, video analytics, and autonomous robotics. Instructors have everything they need for a course on GPUs using the teaching kits.

Certification program

Basic skills are required to complete the NVIDIA deep-learning institute certification program. You must be familiar with how to use a GPU accelerated cloud server. You can take free, online courses. Some courses can be completed in as little as 10 minutes and others take up to 60 minutes. The basics of creating simple neural networks, as well as exploring psychological and biological inspirations will be covered. You'll also learn to use the Jetson Nano Developer Kit - a powerful computer which allows you multiple neural networks to run in parallel.

FAQ

What are some examples AI-related applications?

AI is used in many fields, including finance and healthcare, manufacturing, transport, energy, education, law enforcement, defense, and government. Here are just some examples:

  • Finance - AI is already helping banks to detect fraud. AI can detect suspicious activity in millions of transactions each day by scanning them.
  • Healthcare – AI is used in healthcare to detect cancerous cells and recommend treatment options.
  • Manufacturing - AI can be used in factories to increase efficiency and lower costs.
  • Transportation - Self-driving vehicles have been successfully tested in California. They are being tested across the globe.
  • Energy - AI is being used by utilities to monitor power usage patterns.
  • Education - AI is being used in education. Students can interact with robots by using their smartphones.
  • Government - AI can be used within government to track terrorists, criminals, or missing people.
  • Law Enforcement-Ai is being used to assist police investigations. The databases can contain thousands of hours' worth of CCTV footage that detectives can search.
  • Defense - AI systems can be used offensively as well defensively. An AI system can be used to hack into enemy systems. Artificial intelligence can also be used defensively to protect military bases from cyberattacks.

Is Alexa an artificial intelligence?

The answer is yes. But not quite yet.

Amazon has developed Alexa, a cloud-based voice system. It allows users speak to interact with other devices.

The Echo smart speaker was the first to release Alexa's technology. However, since then, other companies have used similar technologies to create their own versions of Alexa.

Some examples include Google Home (Apple's Siri), and Microsoft's Cortana.

What's the status of the AI Industry?

The AI industry is growing at an unprecedented rate. The internet will connect to over 50 billion devices by 2020 according to some estimates. This means that all of us will have access to AI technology via our smartphones, tablets, laptops, and laptops.

This will also mean that businesses will need to adapt to this shift in order to stay competitive. They risk losing customers to businesses that adapt.

Now, the question is: What business model would your use to profit from these opportunities? Would you create a platform where people could upload their data and connect it to other users? Or perhaps you would offer services such as image recognition or voice recognition?

No matter what your decision, it is important to consider how you might position yourself in relation to your competitors. You won't always win, but if you play your cards right and keep innovating, you may win big time!

What will the government do about AI regulation?

AI regulation is something that governments already do, but they need to be better. They need to ensure that people have control over what data is used. They must also ensure that AI is not used for unethical purposes by companies.

They must also ensure that there is no unfair competition between types of businesses. A small business owner might want to use AI in order to manage their business. However, they should not have to restrict other large businesses.

How does AI function?

To understand how AI works, you need to know some basic computing principles.

Computers store information in memory. They process information based on programs written in code. The code tells the computer what to do next.

An algorithm is a set or instructions that tells the computer how to accomplish a task. These algorithms are typically written in code.

An algorithm can be thought of as a recipe. A recipe may contain steps and ingredients. Each step can be considered a separate instruction. For example, one instruction might read "add water into the pot" while another may read "heat pot until boiling."
